I am computer science professor at Austin College in Sherman, TX.  I received my B.S. in mathematics and computer science from Haverford College in Pennsylvania and my Ph.D. in computer science  from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a graduate student I received the National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship. After graduate school, I worked for Microsoft as a program manager. In 2010, I returned to academics to become a professor of computer science at Austin College. Recently, I developed a meal-tracking app The 7 Second Diet.
